Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casal del Borgo in Ostuni, an oasis that really emphasizes relaxation. The tranquil environment allowed me to unwind completely, and spending sun-soaked days by the outdoor pool was a highlight. I found the garden area perfect for afternoon picnics, with grill facilities if you fancy a BBQ. The staff, especially Ivan, were approachable and quick to solve any issues - like when my fridge acted up, a replacement was swiftly provided. Though primarily surrounded by families, it felt peaceful and away from the tourist hustle while still close enough to stroll into the lovely town centre for dining options. If you're seeking a self-catering retreat in the Italian countryside, Casal del Borgo is a good choice.
